Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Configurator to join a hybrid team in London. You will translate business needs into practical system configurations using File Manager / Claris FileMaker, focusing on workflow automation and continuous improvement across insurer processes and documentation.

You will collaborate with subject-matter experts to capture rules, validate changes, and deliver small, testable increments while maintaining clear documentation and live-service readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring business systems and workflow tools.
• Willingness to learn FileMaker and related platform concepts.
• Ability to interpret business rules and translate them into configurations.
• Understanding of data protection and change control considerations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain File Manager / FileMaker workflows and data structures.
• Deliver changes for insurer products, policy processing and regulatory updates.
• Work with SMEs to understand rules, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
• Support data imports, exports, reporting and remediation activities.
• Investigate defects and live-service issues; support fixes and preventative improvements.
• Document configuration decisions and repeatable processes clearly.
• Expand File Manager / FileMaker knowledge alongside specialists.
