Job summary

Chronos Energy is seeking a Development Manager to lead the commercial development of low carbon energy projects across the UK, focusing on mixed-use and real estate-led energy systems. You will manage from feasibility and commercial structuring to procurement, construction oversight, and handover to asset management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and delivering energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in financial modelling and contract structuring.
• Understanding of ESCo and third-party investment models and UK energy regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility assessments, business case development, and investment appraisals for energy infrastructure projects.
• Lead or support commercial models, including ESCo and third-party investment structures.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating project contracts (Energy Services Agreements, Heat Supply Agreements).
• Coordinate with technical, legal, and financial advisors during the development phase.
• Support client discussions and negotiations through development and commercial close.
• Oversee procurement processes and tender evaluation related to design & build, technology providers, and O&M partners.
