Job summary

DO&CO is seeking a Chef De Partie to join the Heathrow lounge kitchen. You will handle à la carte preparation, ensure HACCP compliance, and supervise junior kitchen staff to uphold top-tier service for luxury airline passengers.

Experience in airline catering is valued; Halal preparation knowledge is essential. The role is on-site with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in a renowned global luxury brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef De Partie
• Proficiency in various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, sautéing
• Ability to plate dishes attractively and maintain high standards of presentation
• Knowledge of accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences such as halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-aware cooking
• Skills in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks during peak hours
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with team and front-of-house

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate all food items per menu specifications
• Maintain HACCP and food hygiene standards in daily duties
• Supervise Commis and Kitchen Stewards
• Ensure correct portion control and expiry dates for all items
• Monitor fridge temperatures and food labels in line with SOPs
• Communicate unavailable menu items to service team promptly
• Support lounge management to maintain high kitchen hygiene
