About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll add value to the efficiency and profitability of your shop and be an integral part of the team. You'll investigate trends and report on key themes regarding shrinkage to protect our profits. You'll also patrol the shop floor to deter potential theft and monitor CCTV for signs of suspicious behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

As a Loss Prevention Partner, your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Being a point of contact for branch Profit Protection issues and escalating as needed.
2. Mitigating the risk of malicious harm to Partners and Customers.
3. Managing shrinkage performance within budget and risk appetite.
4. Addressing all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failure, and administrative error.
5. Supporting and coaching fellow Partners on shrinkage minimisation and procedure compliance.
6. De-escalating conflicts professionally, including detaining or banning individuals when necessary.
7. Supporting investigations as required.

Essential skills/experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in resolving conflicts.
• Great attention to detail to spot trends and signs of profit loss.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.

Desirable skills/experience

• Previous loss prevention experience and customer-facing roles are beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
