About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of your shop and be an essential team member. Your responsibilities include investigating trends, reporting on shrinkage themes, and protecting profits. You will patrol the shop floor to deter theft, monitor CCTV for suspicious activity, and ensure safety for Partners and customers.

Note: Due to the role's nature, applicants must be 18 or older.

You will work on a rota, including evenings and weekends, across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for profit protection issues, escalating as needed.
• Mitigate risks of harm to Partners and Customers.
• Manage shrinkage performance within set budgets and risk appetite.
• Address all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failures, and errors.
• Support and coach Partners to minimize shrinkage and follow procedures.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally, including detaining or banning offenders when necessary.
• Assist with investigations when required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous loss prevention or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training is provided.
