Job Summary:
Loss Prevention Partners protect Partners, customers, and secure assets through efficient risk management and effective communication within their designated shops. This includes preventing loss or damage to stock, loss of cash, and non-compliance with processes.
Note: Due to working regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
What will you be doing?
You will be a member of the Profit Protection team, contributing to the efficiency and profitability of John Lewis.
You will investigate trends, report on key themes, and thoroughly investigate shrinkage to protect profits. Responsibilities include patrolling the shop floor to deter theft and monitoring CCTV for suspicious behavior.
The role covers all aspects of shrinkage, including external and internal dishonesty, procedural failures, and administrative errors.
You should be confident and reassuring to de-escalate conflicts professionally and support and coach fellow Partners to raise awareness of shrinkage issues.
This role requires working on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
Full and comprehensive training will be provided, regardless of prior experience.
Applicants must be over 18 and will undergo DBS checks, reference checks, and financial probity screening. Early application is advised due to high volume.
Salary: £24,400 - £32,000 annually.
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
Job Level: Partnership Level 9.
