Job summary

UNIQLO Trafford Centre is hiring a Full Time Loss Prevention Associate to lead the LP program and safeguard employees and assets within the store. This role reports to the Loss Prevention Manager and supports day-to-day safety initiatives.

You will train staff on LP policies, help detect shoplifters, and prepare incident and investigation reports while maintaining strict confidentiality and contributing to a secure store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and time-management under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and develop in LP roles.

Responsibilities

• Train store employees on LP and safety policy and procedure.
• Detect and capture shoplifters according to company protocol.
• Prepare incident, accident and investigation reports per guidelines.
• Assist management in investigations of policy violations.
• Maintain confidentiality of investigations and outcomes.
• Support day-to-day store operations and inventory accuracy.

Responsible for all initiatives and daily tasks associated with Loss Prevention and safety management directed by the Loss Prevention Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and company assets.

Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours (5/7 days a week) Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Salary: £14.50 p/h starting rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Train store employees on LP and safety policy and procedure and ensure compliance.
• Detect and capture shoplifters according to company protocol.
• Prepare incident reports, accident reports and investigation reports according to company guidelines.
• Assist management in the investigation of employee policy and procedure violations.
• Ensure complete confidentiality with regards to current and past investigations and outcomes.
• Special projects/events as assigned.
• Supporting store with day to day running Ensuring inventory accuracy

Essential requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computer applications; i.e.: Excel, Word, Power Point
• Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team
• Ability to be approachable and comfortable talking to a range of customers and employees
• Exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills
• Desire to challenge yourself and constantly grow and develop
• Able to work effectively under pressure
