Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver with Brick Grab HIAB to join our Store to Home team in Stockton. You will deliver to customers, handle returns, and support loading with a focus on service quality.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, starting at 07:00. Salary includes £15.76 per hour (£32,780.80 annually), with overtime and benefits such as 28 days leave, pension, and health services.

Qualifications

• Experience as Class 2 (Cat C) Driver with Brick Grab HIAB equipment.
• Valid UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• HIAB licence with brick grab ticket and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card in possession.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no recent endorsements firing convictions.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries politely and effectively to ensure excellent service.
• Ensure deliveries and returns are executed accurately and on time.
• Provide timely updates to customers on ETA and any delays.
• Safely transport goods to kerbside and support loading activities as needed.
• Communicate promptly with Store/Hub office and AOM on delivery issues.

Job description

• Handle customer queries politely and effectively, ensure every delivery arrives in excellent condition, and build strong rapport through positive interactions with both internal and external customers.
• Make sure every return and collection is spot‑on, jump in to support B&Q with vehicle loading whenever needed, and quickly alert the Store/Hub office and AOM to any delivery issues so everything keeps moving smoothly.
• Ensure that customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur the customer is communicated with in a polite and courteous manner.
• Ensure customers goods are transported safely onto the kerbside and in an efficient manner.
  A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• A valid HIAB licence with brick grab ticket (ALLMI or equivalent)
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, with a start time of 07:00, contracted to 40 hours per week. Pay, benefits and more:
