Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting for a Cable Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering company near Ferndown. The role involves hands-on assembly of cable harnesses and electrical components in a production environment.

You will read drawings, perform crimping, stripping, terminating cables, soldering where required, loom harnesses, and conduct quality checks to ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable assembly or electrical assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/work instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses from drawings and instructions.
• Crimp, strip and terminate cables; solder where required.
• Loom and harness assembly; use of hand tools.
• Quality check completed work and maintain production flow.

We are currently recruiting for a Cable Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering company based near Ferndown.

This is a hands-on role working within a production environment, assembling cable harnesses and electrical components to a high standard.

Duties included in the Cable Assembler role:

• Work from drawings and instructions
• Crimping, stripping and terminating cables
• Soldering and use of hand tools
• Looming and harness assembly
• Quality checking completed work
• Supporting general production and assembly duties

The Ideal Candidate for the Cable Assembler role:

• Previous cable assembly, wiring or electrical assembly experience
• Able to read and follow engineering drawings/work instructions
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
