Tes is seeking a Looker Developer (BI Analyst) to join our Data & Insights team in a hybrid role, split between Sheffield or London. You will design, develop, and maintain Looker models and dashboards, ensuring governed data experiences across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong Looker and LookML development experience.
• Advanced SQL skills with several years of hands-on practice.
• Solid data modelling knowledge (star/snowflake schemas).
• Experience building scalable Looker semantic layers and self-service analytics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate requirements into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Looker SME, advocating best practices in modelling and governance.
• Design, develop, and maintain LookML models, views, explores, dashboards.
• Build scalable semantic layers to ensure consistent metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance on reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support Looker models.
• Enhance Looker performance via efficient modelling and caching strategies.
• Enable self-service analytics with intuitive dashboards and explores.
• Enforce data governance, accuracy, and documentation of metrics.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends and communicate insights.
