Job summary

Tes is seeking an Analytics Engineer to evolve our data transformation journey within a hybrid role based in Sheffield, with 3 days in the office. You will collaborate with the data team and business stakeholders to design data products that drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with demonstrable real-world experience.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and modern ELT/ETL tools (e.g. Fivetran).
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation layers.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile mindset, with experience delivering iterative, value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Modelling: Build and maintain robust data pipelines and transformation logic.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
