Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated Primary SEND Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in St George, Bristol. You will support pupils with SEND in classroom activities and broader school life, helping them access the curriculum and grow confidence.

The role offers a long-term opportunity with regular hours (8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday) and ongoing consultant support, focusing on inclusive education and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in schools or similar settings.
• Patience, nurturing and resilience are essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND in classroom and wider school activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions and personalised learning support.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENDCo and external professionals.
• Support curriculum access and pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
