Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting a PE Coach for a secondary school in Newham, East London, on a long-term basis starting after October half-term. The role focuses on delivering PE lessons, supervising sports sessions and supporting student development in sport and fitness.

The ideal candidate will have prior PE coaching experience, be confident with secondary students, and possess strong communication and behaviour management skills to promote safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PE Coach or similar role.
• Confident working with secondary school students.
• Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about sport and encouraging student participation.
• Reliable, proactive and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of PE lessons and sporting activities across the secondary age range.
• Lead and supervise practical sports sessions, encouraging participation.
• Support teachers in maintaining positive behaviour during lessons.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Assist with organising extracurricular sports activities and fixtures.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of students during all sporting activities.
