Job summary

Monarch Education in Bristol is recruiting a confdent and reliable Long-term Maths Teacher to support a secondary school on a long-term placement with ASAP start. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 and help maintain pupil progress from day one.

The role requires UK QTS, experience in UK secondary schools, strong behaviour management, and willingness to complete safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Qualified with UK QTS.
• Experienced Maths teacher in a UK secondary school setting.
• Confident in classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible, organised and dependable.
• Available to start ASAP.
• Able to commit to a long-term role in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Take responsibility for a long-term teaching timetable.
• Plan, mark and assess pupil work where required.
• Maintain a calm, well-managed classroom environment.
• Follow school policies, curriculum guidance and safeguarding procedures.
• Build positive working relationships with pupils and staff.
• Support pupil progress and continuity of learning from day one.
