Job summary

The Oyster Partnership is recruiting a Locum Housing Litigation Solicitor for a 12-month contract. The role offers hybrid working and an hourly rate of £55–£60, depending on experience and office attendance.

You will manage a full housing litigation caseload within a well-established local authority legal team. Ideal candidates are qualified solicitors, barristers or legal executives with local authority housing litigation experience, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to work with minimal

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive as per requirements.
• Recent local authority housing litigation experience.
• Strong advocacy skills with ability to attend court.
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling disrepair, ASB, possession and injunction matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full housing litigation caseload.

• Defend housing-related judicial review applications.
