Role Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the post-production process, shaping raw footage into visually compelling and highly engaging podcast episodes. Your storytelling skills and innovative approach will elevate our brand and connect with global audiences.

We’re looking for someone passionate about their craft who goes above and beyond to inspire creativity and push boundaries. This role offers the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and techniques, continuously improving our video output and taking it to the next level.

Responsibilities

Podcast Editing

Edit a weekly podcast using footage from a 9–13 camera setup and 2–5 audio channels. Craft polished, engaging video content using keyframes, camera angles, and cuts to tell a compelling story.

Creative Post-Production

Assemble recorded footage, incorporate special effects, graphics, and sound. Fine-tune the final output to deliver high-quality, professional videos.

Feedback Incorporation

Implement feedback and revisions from senior stakeholders quickly, often in real-time, to improve the editing output.

Technical Support

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the editing process to ensure smooth production workflows.

Continuous Learning

Stay up to date with industry trends, learn new techniques independently, and experiment with tools to push creative boundaries.

Knowledge Sharing

Contribute to the development of the wider editing team by sharing expertise, best practices, and creative ideas.

Competencies

Proven experience as a video editor, with strong multicam editing skills and a portfolio showcasing work for YouTube and social media.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with a strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting standards.

Strong storytelling ability, with skills in pacing, narrative structure, and visual composition.

High level of creativity, with a willingness to experiment and innovate.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, including structured file management.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and embody company culture and values.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across departments.

London - Shoreditch ~ we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.
