Job summary

Places for People is seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager to oversee property management services for London clients. You will report to the Portfolio and Lettings Manager and ensure the delivery of high-quality maintenance, repairs and financial performance across residential portfolios.

You will conduct site inspections, manage repair tasks and liaise with the client to meet expectations. The role is site-based 3–4 days weekly across London, with DBS checks required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Background in Property and Property Management
• Experience with repairs and maintenance as well as contract/works management
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and document actions
• A track record of delivering services within property portfolios

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard
• Manage repairs and maintenance issues reported to the team and ensure timely resolution
• Support management of operational and financial performance of residential portfolios through expenditure and rent collection, works and repairs
• Maintain regular dialogue with the client to ensure expectations are met
• Role is site-based 3–4 days a week covering all London locations
