Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for a foot-mobile maintenance role across London commercial buildings. You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and support with minor carpentry and on-site supervision of contractors.

Applicants should have strong mechanical experience, use of hand and power tools, and a proactive approach to health and safety. A clear path for training and progression is highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in facilities/building environments.
• Able to diagnose faults and carry out initial repairs.
• Comfortable with pressure and temperature readings and identifying root causes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance issues and diagnose faults.
• Identify mechanical/electrical/controls related faults.
• Carry out maintenance tasks such as replacing valves, actuators and TRVs; basic pipework alterations.
• Escalate specialist issues and supervise contractors as needed.
• Perform site inspections and report major repairs.
