Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the London insurance market to take ownership of a key ledger and play a vital role in maintaining strong cash flow and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and reconcile broker and client accounts within the London outstanding premiums and resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
2. Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient credit control processes.
3. Monitor aged debt reports and escalate issues where necessary.
4. Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
5. Maintain accurate records in accordance with FCA and Lloyd’s regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Proven experience in a credit control role within the London insurance market (Lloyd’s or company market).
2. Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and market systems (IMR, CLASS, ECF).
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
