London Markets Credit Controller required in Bristol

Your new role This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the London insurance market to take ownership of a key ledger and play a vital role in maintaining strong cash flow and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile complex broker and client accounts within the London Market.Chase outstanding premiums and resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient credit control processes.
  • Monitor aged debt reports and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with FCA and Lloyd's regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a credit control role within the London insurance market (Lloyd's or company market).
  • Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and market systems (e.g., IMR, CLASS, ECF).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
