Job summary

Otis Limited is seeking a repairs engineer for London to maintain a portfolio of elevator and escalator units, ensuring safety and reliability for passengers and stakeholders. You will repair Otis equipment and other units, travel across the London area, and respond promptly to issues on-site.

You will liaise with customers, carry out both minor and major repairs, and work alone or in a team. Training will be provided in technology, processes, and soft skills to support your growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in lift service, repair or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 5 years of experience in the lift sector.
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety-focused professional with priority on safety.
• Good communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working alone or in a team.
• Proficient with electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs of Otis equipment and other equipment.
• Cover the London area and manage the lift portfolio.
• Respond quickly to issues found on lifts.
• Perform minor and major repairs to keep systems running.
• Liaise with customers on site to build good relationships.
