Job summary

Bird & Bird is seeking a Junior Analyst to join the Global Business Acceptance team in London. You will handle time‑sensitive business acceptance queries from a central inbox and learn to resolve conflicts, assess CDD and financial crime issues, and identify reputational risk concerns.

Based in London, you will work in the office at least three days per week and contribute to a learning programme that develops your technical and non‑technical skills while supporting global operations and policy

Qualifications

Previous experience in Business Acceptance, Risk & Compliance.
Ability to manage time‑sensitive queries and coordinate across teams.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to policy development.

Responsibilities

Analyse business acceptance issues daily and provide solutions aligned with firm policy.
Support queries across the Global Business Acceptance team and escalate when needed.
Manage workload and prioritize to meet the firm’s needs.
Foster inclusive growth and high‑quality, commercially aware work.
Collaborate with Risk & Compliance and other firm teams globally.
Seek learning opportunities and develop both technical and non‑technical skills.
Contribute to policies, frameworks, and guidance within the team.
Engage in cross‑workstream activity as directed by management.
