Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking an experienced Broker/Trader to join our central London office. This permanent, full-time role offers a basic salary of £65,000 to £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with five days in the office.

You will identify trading opportunities, build relationships with institutional counterparties and support execution of transactions in a fast-paced market. Ideal for professionals from UK investment banks or specialist trading desks seeking career progression.

Qualifications

Approximately 4 to 5 years’ experience as a Broker, Trader or Sales Trader in financial markets.
Experience in UK investment banks, brokerages or institutional trading firms.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate trading opportunities across institutional markets.
Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and counterparties.
Support execution of transactions in line with internal procedures and regulations.
Monitor market developments, pricing movements and liquidity conditions.
Provide clients and stakeholders with market information and insights.
Negotiate terms and support efficient trade execution.
Develop new business relationships and expand market connections.
Maintain accurate records of trading activity and client communications.
Contribute to ongoing development of trading and brokerage activities.
