Job summary

Solirius Ltd. invites a Service Designer to join our multidisciplinary team in London, delivering secure, user-focused digital services for government and private sector clients.

You will listen carefully, communicate clearly, and apply a pragmatic, team-oriented approach to understand problems and design inclusive experiences. You will work across strategy to implementation, shaping service experiences with rapid prototyping, artefacts, and collaboration with agile teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in user-centred design activities from big picture to detailed interaction and information architecture.
• Able to map service experiences and define changes to meet user and business needs.
• Skilled at rapid prototyping to test, iterate and validate designs.
• Produces artefacts (personas, journey maps, blueprints, user stories) to communicate needs.
• Experience working with agile development teams and stakeholders to co-design products and services.
• Able to coach teams in user-centred design and agile methodologies.
• Advocates usability, accessibility and inclusivity across products and services.
• Knowledge and experience of Government Service Standard (essential).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative digital products and services for Government and Private Sector clients.
• Listen, communicate effectively, and work as a pragmatic team player balancing business and user needs.
• Develop and apply 'T-shaped' skills across strategy to implementation and across sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel to client sites as required.
