Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking an experienced Escalator Engineer to maintain and repair high-profile escalator systems across Greater London. The role features 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00), a 4-on/4-off pattern and a Company Vehicle, with duties including fault-finding, safety checks and site log maintenance.

You will work on equipment from KONE, Schindler, Otis and more across rail and underground sites, including Gatwick and Stansted airports.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety and customer care.
• Perform risk assessments and maintain site log cards on every visit.
• Adhere to shifting patterns within Greater London and airport sites.
