Job summary

Rothschild & Co Redburn in London offers a 10-week equity research internship beginning 18 August 2026. You will receive intensive training in accounting, valuation and modelling, then join your allocated team to work on day-to-day research tasks and network with senior staff.

A genuine interest in financial markets and strong communication skills are essential. Selected candidates will gain meaningful responsibility early on and exposure to European and US equity markets through our research

Qualifications

• On track for a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent in your university degree
• Genuine interest in corporate finance with good commercial awareness
• Communication – excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Teamwork – able to build effective relationships and collaborates with others
• Analytical and numerical skills – strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills
• Drive & Motivation – self-starter with interest in financial markets
• Creativity – independent thinking and creative problem solving
• Resilience – able to adapt to change with humor and intelligence

Responsibilities

• Provide equity research insights on a company or sector
• Produce detailed buy/sell arguments for clients
• Support analysts across multiple sectors
• Engage in day-to-day desk duties and networking events
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
