Job summary

Rothschild & Co in Leeds is offering a 10-week internship in our Global Advisory division. You will immerse yourself in corporate finance via research, profiling, modelling and supporting live transaction work.

The program begins with an intensive London training period covering Excel, accounting, valuation and modelling. After training, you’ll join the Leeds team for the remainder of the internship, with networking and learning sessions throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• On track for a minimum 2:1 or equivalent in your degree.
• Genuine interest in corporate finance and commercial awareness.
• Interest in working in the Leeds area.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Diligent, detail-oriented and capable of delivering under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research the industries in which clients operate to support bankers’ marketing.
• Provide input for company profiles, presentations, and other documents.
• Input and editing of Excel-based models including valuation techniques.
• Support coordinating the transaction process during live deals.
• Attend internal and external calls and meetings as appropriate.
