Job summary

Citi is recruiting a placement analyst for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in London, starting January 2027. The program trains and develops analysts through hands-on involvement in IPOs, AEOs, rights issues, and other capital-raising activities, with potential for a full-time position after graduation.

The role focuses on developing pitchbooks, conducting financial analysis, and coordinating with M&A and DCM teams, while gaining global exposure and a path to long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate student.
• Expected to achieve a 2:1 at undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Developing pitchbooks and executing ECM mandates for Citi clients.
• Interact with clients and senior management; manage transaction process and compliance checks.
• Analyze financial data and build valuations and pro-forma analyses.
• Coordinate with Citi’s global network to ensure activity is aligned across the franchise.
