Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in London is seeking a Sensitive Financial Intelligence Team Lead (FTC until 18/10/2027). You will lead a blended team of data and intelligence analysts and develop strategies to exploit financial intelligence for regulatory action.

Key responsibilities include hiring and managing staff, overseeing data-led intelligence packages, and collaborating with internal and external partners to drive improved regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and developing staff to deliver high-quality analysis.
• Experience delivering significant projects and overseeing acquisition and exploitation of intelligence data.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, investigations, or financial services with relevance to economic or financial crime.

Responsibilities

• Developing the strategy to exploit data sources for FCA insights.
• Hiring, growing, and managing a blended team of data and intelligence analysts.
• Overseeing creation of data-led intelligence packages for onward action and liaising with partners to share insights.
• Acting as a role model and advocate for intelligence within the FCA.
• Being part of the Data Exploitation and SID management teams.
