Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a Unified Threat - Technical Specialist to lead the FCA’s response to security threats, coordinating with government, law enforcement and external partners. You will advise on travel security and manage insider risk and physical access topics across UK offices.

Role requires extensive experience in risk management, intelligence handling and collaboration with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing information and intelligence gathering and briefing senior leadership.
• Ability to apply formal risk management techniques in security operations.
• Knowledge of intelligence handling and information governance.
• Experience with insider risk programs and staff risk management.
• Ability to work with law enforcement and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate FCA’s response to security threats, including nation state activity.
• Collaborate with government and law enforcement for coordinated security.
• Provide travel security advice and support for overseas colleagues.
• Develop and implement security policies and standards across the organization.
• Deliver risk assessments and specialist advice on targeted threats.
• Design and deliver training and awareness initiatives for security topics.
• Broaden technical skills and understanding of the FCA in a busy, supportive environment.
