Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (2–5 PQE) in London for a growing, respected disputes team. You will manage your own caseload, work with Partners, and develop your career in a supportive environment.

The firm is a top 60 ranked full-service practice with offices across the UK. You will handle a broad range of disputes, draft pleadings, advise clients, and participate in business development for high-value matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years' PQE in commercial disputes.
• Experience handling company, commercial and contractual disputes, including County Court and High Court litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and court procedures; excellent drafting and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of commercial disputes from inception to resolution.
• Advising clients on corporate, commercial and contractual disputes.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other litigation documents.
• Maintaining regular client contact and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
• Working with Partners and senior colleagues on complex and high-value matters.
• Managing time recording, billing and costs recovery.
• Identifying opportunities for business development and contributing to the team's growth.
