Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (1–6 PQE) to join a small, specialist team within a large international firm in Manchester. You will have clear visibility and ownership of matters from an early stage, with opportunities to work across corporate, real estate and regulatory matters as needed.

You will advise an impressive client base on a broad range of disputes, developing client relationships and a profile in the Manchester market as you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 1 to 6 years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Solid technical grounding across a broad range of disputes.
• Commercially minded and comfortable engaging with clients directly.
• Able to manage a varied caseload with increasing autonomy as experience develops.
• Ambitious, with progression firmly in view over the longer term.

Responsibilities

• Advise and own a broad range of commercial disputes from the Manchester office.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on cross‑practice matters.
• Develop client relationships and build profile in the Manchester market.
• Take ownership of matters with visibility to senior team members.
• Contribute to an autonomous and ambitious growth trajectory within the team.
