In London, Aether Financial Services has experienced 45% annual growth in 2022 and 2023, with strong ambitions for the future.

Agency services

Aether Financial Services operates in the private debt and capital markets, covering all agency roles: loan agent, bond agent, administrative agent, calculation agent, paying agent, security agent, etc.

Valuation and calculation

The company provides independent valuations of various financial instruments and securities, from vanilla to highly structured products, catering to recurring, specific, or one-off needs.

Corporate and Issuer Services

It offers evolving value-added services for managing financial transactions, based on proprietary digital solutions “VOX AEQUITAS” (e.g., capital increase, general meetings, registrar, record keeping, management packages).

JOB DESCRIPTION

To support growth, AFS seeks a Business Development Director for AGENCY PRIVATE DEBT at its LONDON office to accelerate UK expansion.

Reporting directly to General Management, your responsibilities, after familiarization with our services, will include:

1. Assessing Aether FS’s private debt agency services to develop a targeted growth strategy (markets and clients) and craft appropriate commercial messaging.
2. Formalizing communication and marketing materials to promote our offerings and proposing essential evolutions to strengthen market positioning.
3. Supporting market visibility through content formats like blogs, articles, webinars, and events, in collaboration with the Communication Department.
4. Driving and executing development initiatives, leveraging existing contacts and targeting new clients in the UK and Europe.
5. Collaborating with other Business Unit Directors to share insights, identify joint opportunities, and foster synergies.
6. Providing regular reports and updates to General Management on progress, client follow-up, and commercial proposals.
7. Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes impacting UK and European activities.

YOUR PROFILE

• 8-10+ years of experience in Business Development within the Private Debt Agency sector, with strong UK market knowledge and some international exposure.
• Deep operational understanding of UK private debt markets, including technical, regulatory, and legal aspects.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, autonomous, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to take operational control of business development, including sales, marketing, and field management.
• Proficient in Office 360.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, Spanish) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, with a sense of accountability and customer focus.
