Job summary

Arriva London is seeking a Performance Manager to improve reliability and performance of bus services across London. You will analyse data from multiple sources, work with control centres, operations, engineering and commercial teams, and help deliver better journeys for passengers under TfL contracts.

You will review journey times, support new route launches, and contribute to continuous improvement strategies, with a focus on forecasting, tender performance, and implementing practical actions

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TfL bus control processes and the London bus network.
• Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Understanding of route performance measures and impact of decisions on reliability.
• Experience working with diverse teams to deliver improvements.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across functions.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily performance data to identify improvements and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Route Performance colleagues to share best practices.
• Support the Senior Performance Manager in continuous improvement strategies.
• Investigate performance issues and implement solutions.
• Improve staff awareness of route performance through clear communication.
• Support new technologies for analysis and reporting.
• Produce accurate route performance forecasts and targets.
• Review performance against tender expectations using CitySwift.
• Assist with tender submissions and TfL collaboration.
• Promote safe working practices across teams.
