Job summary

Zesty Work in London seeks an Architectural Technician/Technologist with conservation sector experience to join a dynamic technical staff team. You will translate design concepts into tangible, sustainable structures, leading or supporting projects from conception through delivery.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams, manage design development, and ensure timely, budget-conscious outcomes. Excellent AutoCAD/Revit/SketchUp skills and strong client engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree and post-qualification experience in architectural tech/delivery.
• Experience in technical design and delivery for conservation projects.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify building projects according to current guidelines, standards and regulations.
• Manage projects through planning, building regulations and other required consents.
• Independently lead multidisciplinary design teams on small, technically focused projects.
• Serve as the technical lead within multidisciplinary teams on small to medium projects.
• Support the management and technical delivery of complex, high‑risk projects.
• Oversee external consultants as part of the design team and ensure quality.
• Engage proactively with clients to provide high‑quality service within constraints.
• Lead discussions on technical and related issues.
