Job summary

Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants Ltd in London is seeking a Class 2 delivery driver for 18T rigid vehicles to cover deliveries primarily in the Greater London area.

You will perform safety checks, assist with deliveries, sign paperwork, and maintain professional customer interactions while ensuring accuracy of loaded goods. Familiarity with tail-lift and pump truck operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• UK Class 2 licence with clean record preferred.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card and current CPC training.
• Non-UK licence holders must exchange CPC/Tacho for UK equivalents before employment or renewal.
• Solid understanding of tachograph regulations, working hours, rest breaks and driving time limits.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery schedules and routes with transport managers.
• Secure loads and ensure safety during transit.
• Monitor traffic and adjust routes to avoid delays.
• Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks or any other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading; operate tail-lift and use electric pump truck.
