This role will own the logistics operation, lead a team of drivers and logistics professionals while driving service, efficiency, compliance and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, transport or distribution management.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong route planning, fleet management and logistics knowledge.
• Hands-on leader who stays close to operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisation and communication.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Experience in transport/FMCG/food manufacturing or distribution is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Logistics and Driving teams.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, training and performance.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance.
• Oversee route planning, resource allocation and operational scheduling.
• Manage fleet standards, vehicle compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Monitor and improve key logistics KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the operation.
• Build strong working relationships across the wider business to enhance operational performance.
