Job summary

Severfield UK Limited is recruiting for a Logistics Operative - Trainee Loader (Days) at our Dalton, Thirsk site. The trainee will undergo a 3–6 month training programme to operate a remote overhead crane, move materials, and build packs for delivery.

No prior experience is needed as full training is provided; strong numeracy and communication are valued, along with good attention to detail and comfort using an iPad.

Responsibilities

• Operate a remote overhead crane to move materials and build packs.
• Ensure loads are safe and stable for transport within trailer limits.
