Job summary

Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd is seeking a Logistics Team Manager at our Isleport Distribution Centre in Highbridge, Somerset. You will lead and develop one of our Logistics Operational teams, ensuring safety, accuracy in picking, efficient dispatch and presentation to customers.

You will collaborate with other functions to improve quality, efficiency, distribution and labour costs, using Microsoft tools and hand-held devices, and report on KPIs.

• Problem solving and analytical skills.

• Delivering department and business communications and reporting to the highest standards with ability to analyse and interpret the detail of results within your team.
• Leading continuous improvement activities providing measures of success through application of CI principles.

So, what will I be doing?

As a Logistics Team Manager based at our Isleport Distribution Centre in Highbridge, Somerset, you will be responsible for leading and developing one of our Logistics Operational teams. Ensuring we are operating in the safest environment, you’ll engage, support and develop your team members to ensure our finished goods/raw materials are picked accurately, dispatched with maximum efficiency, and presented to the highest standard for our customers. As well as making sure things are running smoothly on a daily basis, you'll work together with your team and other functions to continually improve the quality, efficiency, distribution and labour costs.

This is a 4 nights on 4 nights off role working 20:00 to 08:00
