Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Logistics Team Leader for the Desford site in the United Kingdom. You will lead an AM shift, drive health and safety, productivity and continuous improvement on the production line and logistics processes.

You proactively ensure resources are used effectively to meet targets while maintaining highest safety standards.**What you will do:**As a **Team Leader**, you are accountable for, but not limited to:* Lead the team to meet the daily goals and continually monitor and audit Health and Safety, People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metrics within your span of control as per business goals.* Champion safe working practices and undertake training and further learning.* Generate and work on Continuous Improvement ideas for your assigned area using the Continuous Improvement (CI) process and maintain the skills matrix for the team to 100% versatility, ensure standard work is updated.* Participate in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs) for Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost within your team operation.**NB.
