Working across engineering and business teams, you'll apply your project management, problem-solving, supplier management and relationship management skills, alongside your engineering knowledge of facilities, utilities and infrastructure systems, to drive site performance and continuous improvement.As a **Facilities & Plant Engineer,** you are accountable for, but not limited to:* Lead and deliver facilities engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time and within budget while meeting business and stakeholder requirements.* Manage facilities-related contractors and service providers, ensuring safe working practices, compliance with site procedures, contractual obligations and expected service levels.* Provide technical support for site facilities, utilities and infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution, building services, HVAC, compressed air, water and energy systems, identifying, investigating and resolving issues using structured problem-solving techniques and implementing effective long-term solutions.* Support site compliance and governance activities, including contractor control, permit-to-work processes, risk assessments and adherence to health, safety, environmental and engineering standards.* Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating project progress, technical recommendations and engineering decisions to support operational objectives.* Drive continuous improvement across facilities, utilities and infrastructure systems, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, performance, compliance and cost effectiveness.**NB. Able to interpret technical information, identify issues and make sound engineering decisions to support the safe and reliable operation of site infrastructure.* **Facilities and Utilities Knowledge:** Working knowledge of building services and utility systems, such as HVAC, compressed air, water, drainage and energy infrastructure.
