Job description

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Logistics Support Administrator to join a leading agricultural company dedicated to enhancing global food security. This role is based at our client's site in Manchester on a 12 month contract.

As a Logistics Support Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) topics and contribute to the efficient logistics operations across Europe by supporting key administrative and coordination tasks.

You will be responsible for:

  • Act as one of the contact points for HSES-related tasks in logistics.
  • Assist with reporting and follow-up of logistics-related incidents or non-conformities.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Logistics & Order Management team.
  • Support invoice-related processes such as data checks and PO handling in coordination with Accounts Payable.
  • Extract data, maintain dashboards, and support issue resolution using tools such as Excel, SAP, and ARIBA.
  • Contribute to small-scale projects and process improvements within logistics operations.
Qualifications and experience:
  • Relevant experience in logistics/customer service operations and/or accounts payable experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP SD/MM and MS Office, with particular advanced expertise in Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree or similar in a commercial/business or technical subject is desired but not strictly necessary.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory.
  • Expertise in supplier management.
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations for dangerous goods.
