PROCUREMENT – LOGISTICS SUPPLY CHAIN PROCUREMENT MANAGER – ICONIC FTSE 100 FMCG MAJOR – LONDON - £70,000-£80,000 + PACKAGE (BONUS + CAR + SHARES)

This iconic FTSE 100 FMCG major has been providing the world with much-loved brands for over 100 years. With a multi-billion-pound spending power, procurement is now more important than ever.

As a result, the Board is investing heavily to become a best-practice and multi-award-winning global sourcing hub. The firm is looking to hire a passionate Logistics Procurement specialist to drive not only bottom-line savings but also wider commercial value from complex deals.

As Logistics Supply Chain Procurement Manager, you will:

• Use your logistics procurement expertise to execute seamless and integrated strategic sourcing processes.
• Implement global, international, and category plans using strategic sourcing tools in collaboration with internal partners.
• Work with regional, international, and cross-cultural teams to execute sourcing strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for large-scale, high-value EMEA logistics categories (oceanic, road, rail, air freight, transportation, warehousing).
• Utilize your Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills to manage leading 3PL and 4PL suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to introduce creativity and innovation into logistics sourcing projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to secure support for sourcing initiatives.
• Receive one-to-one procurement training from the EMEA Logistics Procurement Director, with a view to promotion to Logistics Sourcing Lead within 1-2 years.

Required procurement experience, skills & qualifications:

• At least 2 years of logistics procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management experience within a recognized FTSE 250 or Fortune 500 company.
• Experience in global sourcing and low-cost country sourcing.
• Experience in multi-country negotiations and contracts.
• Strong stakeholder influencing and relationship management skills.
• Degree, MCIPS, and Prince2 qualifications are preferred but not essential.
