Job summary

Premea is seeking a Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer on a 12-month contract in Solihull, with hybrid potential. The role focuses on early product creation phases across UK sites, delivering high-quality data, analysis, and preparatory work to inform decisions within the programme environment.

You will act as interface with GME logistics and technology teams, capture part complexity and sequencing data, and prepare strategic impact assessments and gateway submissions to support manufacturing

Qualifications

Experience in automotive project/programme environments.
Ability to collate, analyse, and present complex data.
Understanding of planning, monitoring and risk concepts.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Comfort working in dynamic environments where scope changes quickly.

Responsibilities

Act as day-to-day contact in GME Logistics for programme activity in the strategy phase.
Engage with GME technology teams and support decision-making during initial manufacturing strategy.
Capture part complexity, sequencing data, and packaging proposals; summarise latest solutions.
Prepare intra-logistics impact assessments for IOS programme studies as requested.
Prepare gateway submissions for IOPD gateways and ensure deliverables meet standards.
