Job summary

Expleo Group in Solihull is seeking a Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer to join a leading automotive organisation. You will provide critical data analysis, impact assessments and programme coordination to shape logistics strategies across UK sites.

Working with Logistics, Supply Chain, Technology and Manufacturing teams, you will help deliver from development through to production readiness, adapting to evolving project scopes and engaging multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a project or programme environment.
• Ability to collate, analyse and present complex data.
• Understanding of planning, monitoring and risk-awareness principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confident working in dynamic environments where scope of work changes at pace.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact in GME Logistics for all programme activity in the strategy phase.
• Engage technology teams and interface to support decision making during creation of the initial manufacturing strategy.
• Capture part complexity, type, sequencing assumptions and m3 data from Supply Chain and programme teams and summarise latest part fit point and packaging proposals.
• Prepare all intra-Logistics strategic impact assessments for IOS projects and studies.
• Prepare all intra-Logistics gateway submissions for the IO Programme Delivery team from to gateways.
