Job summary

Premea is seeking a Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer on a contract basis in Solihull, with hybrid potential. The role supports early product creation phases, providing data, analysis, and preparatory work to enable informed decisions across the programme environment.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, managing data on part complexity and packaging proposals, and delivering strategic assessments for gateway submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project or programme environment within automotive is required.
• Ability to collate, analyze and present complex data effectively.
• Solid understanding of planning, monitoring and risk-awareness principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Comfort working in dynamic environments with changing scope.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day contact for programme activity in the strategy phase.
• Engage with GME technology teams and support decision-making for initial manufacturing strategy.
• Capture part complexity, sequencing, and packaging data from SC and programme teams and summarize proposals.
• Prepare intra-logistics strategic impact assessments for IOS studies.
• Prepare submissions for key programme gateways and ensure deliverables meet standards.
