Job summary

Futura Design Limited's OEM client in Solihull is seeking a Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer on an inside IR35 contract, with a proposed end date of 30 July 2027. Umbrella pay rate: £28.43 per hour.

The role provides high-quality data, analysis and preparatory work across UK sites to enable informed decision-making in the programme environment. You will coordinate impact assessments, consolidate programme inputs and manage key information flows between GME Logistics and cross-functional

Qualifications

Experience working in a project or programme environment.
Ability to collate, analyse and present complex data.
Understanding of planning, monitoring and risk-awareness principles.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Confident working in dynamic environments where scope of work changes at pace.

Responsibilities

Act as day-to-day contact in GME Logistics for all programme activity in the strategy phase.
Engage GME technology teams and support decision making during creation of the initial manufacturing strategy.
Capture part complexity and sequencing data from Supply Chain and programme teams and summarise latest fit point and packaging proposals.
Prepare intra-logistics strategic impact assessments for IOS and IOPD gateway submissions.
