Job summary

Futura Design Limited is seeking an Instrumentation Planning Engineer in Coventry to cover maternity leave. This is an Inside IR35 contract position with a weekly pay rate and a fixed end date. You will establish baseline criteria, plan workloads, and develop build plans aligned to programme timelines.

Weekly reports will visualise demand, capacity and progress for leadership and stakeholders. Essential knowledge includes vehicle/HV battery systems and strong IT skills (Excel/PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle and HV battery systems.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish baseline criteria to plan and schedule workload for engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain a build plan aligned with programme timelines.
• Produce weekly reports showing demand, capacity and build progress.
• Track build status and update the JIRA board and other tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement and programme teams.
