Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Stores Operative for a busy technology and logistics operation in Rugby. You will receive, locate, pick and dispatch customer orders while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring goods are stored correctly.

The role requires reliability, good communication and attention to detail. Duties include unloading deliveries, entering data into the inventory system, packing orders and supporting goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous stores/warehouse experience is desirable.
• Reliable work history and attendance.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and counting ability.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to hours, including overtime when available.
• Use of initiative to produce high-quality work.
• GCSEs in Maths and English would be beneficial but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries.
• Check deliveries for accuracy.
• Enter deliveries into inventory system.
• Label stock and locate it correctly.
• Pick customer orders and report discrepancies.
• Perform quality checks on products and quantities.
• Package orders securely for transport.
• Operate mechanical equipment safely.
• Follow stock handling regulations.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Support goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch as needed.
