Job Description:

We’re looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Buyer Vendor Support (BVS) team at our Watford Head Office. The role involves acting as a strategic business partner to our buying teams, third-party logistics providers, and vendors to ensure the efficient flow of goods through our supply chain.

The Logistics Specialist will focus on maximizing profitability by identifying risks and opportunities to improve the flow of goods while adhering to customer protection standards and safeguarding the company's reputation.

The ideal candidate will understand the Buyers' strategies and challenges, and collaborate to develop solutions that maximize commercial opportunities, manage logistics costs, and uphold our off-price buying principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Buying Partnerships

• Support the UK Buying office on deals, ensuring logistical objectives are met for efficient goods flow.
• Partner with and advise buying teams on best practices in a fast-paced, off-price environment, suggesting creative solutions.
• Act as a communication link between Logistics and Buying, managing stakeholder expectations and providing timely solutions.

Vendor Excellence

• Partner with vendors and buying teams, onboarding vendors to ensure compliance and understanding of TJX Europe’s requirements.
• Represent TJX & Logistics during vendor visits.
• Drive improvements in vendor behavior, including cost mitigation activities.

Logistics Engagement & Partnership

• Collaborate with logistics teams and freight forwarders to resolve supply chain issues using strong communication skills.
• Prioritize shipments and key deals, utilizing reporting tools to maintain and grow customer relationships.
• Ensure process alignment across logistics teams on best practices.
